Supported shifters

BMW F-series 8HP shifter​

This shifter can be connected in two ways. The first is the same as in a stock car: CAN 1 and CAN 2 directly to an F-series transmission. In that case select the Original BMW shifter connected to the transmission option. The second is connecting the shifter's CAN 1 to the controller's CAN 3. In that case select the F-series 8HP shifter on CAN 3 option, and CAN 2 is left unused.

BMW G-series 8HP shifter​

This shifter can be connected in two ways. The first is the same as in a stock car: CAN 1 directly to a G-series transmission. In that case select the Original BMW shifter connected to the transmission option. The second is connecting the shifter's CAN 1 to the controller's CAN 3. In that case select the G-series 8HP shifter on CAN 3 option.

BMW F-series DCT shifter​

This shifter is supported only on the CAN 3 bus - connect the shifter's CAN 1 to the controller's CAN 3 and select the F-series DCT shifter on CAN 3 option. The F-series DCT shifter pinout matches the F-series 8HP shifter pinout. CAN 2 is left unused. To engage P, move the shifter to N twice.
