Supported transmissions

The controller fully supports the following 8HP transmissions:

BMW F-series, first generation: 8HP45 · 8HP70 · 8HP90

BMW F-series, second generation: 8HP50 · 8HP75

BMW G-series, second generation: 8HP50 · 8HP75

Full support includes:

  • disabling the immobilizer (ISN reset)
  • paddle shifting
  • drive modes: ECO Pro, Comfort, Sport, Sport+
  • reading and clearing DTC faults
  • reading and resetting adaptations
  • reading and resetting the differential ratio
  • flashing calibrations (transmission maps)

The controller can also support other first- and second-generation 8HP transmissions (including those from the BMW E-series, Jaguar, and Dodge) after first reflashing the controller built into the transmission. This procedure requires removing the controller from the transmission and sending it to us, and is a paid service.

Only the ZF 8HP family is supported — other automatic transmissions (e.g. the ZF 6HP, Mercedes 722.6/722.9, or Aisin EAT8) are not.
