EGS preset

  • 8HP F-series Gen1/Gen2 Support for first- and second-generation transmissions: 8HP45, 8HP50, 8HP70, 8HP75 from any F-series BMW.
  • 8HP G-series Gen2 Support for second-generation transmissions: 8HP50, 8HP75 from any G-series BMW.

Shifter

This setting chooses whether the transmission uses the original selector or an emulation provided by the controller.

  • Original BMW shifter connected to the transmission The factory selector, matching the transmission generation: an F-series selector for an F-series transmission or a G-series selector for a G-series transmission. The selector's CAN bus must be wired to the transmission just like in a stock car: CAN 1 and CAN 2 for F-series, or CAN 1 for G-series.
  • Shifter emulation The controller emulates the selector and generates the P/R/N/D/S commands and up/down gear changes based on the configured analog or digital inputs.
  • F-series shifter on CAN 3 Lets you connect an F-series selector to the CAN 3 bus — the selector's CAN 1 to the controller's CAN 3 (the selector's CAN 2 is left unused).
  • G-series shifter on CAN 3 Lets you connect a G-series selector to the CAN 3 bus — the selector's CAN 1 to the controller's CAN 3.

E-series ATC

Support for BMW E-series xDrive transfer cases. The setting determines the default front-axle drive state after ignition on. The drive can then be turned on or off (even while driving) using a switch wired to an analog or digital input.
